Prior to founding PaperIQ with James Shannon, Robert worked for 7 years as Managing Director of DBT Limited, building the business into one of the UK’s leading providers of database and Internet solutions to the corporate sector. Robert has experience of working in America, Canada and Europe with some of the world’s most innovative companies including; Bayer, Merial, Lucent Technologies, Syngenta, Aviagen, Dow Chemical, Genus, BASF, Lowe Alpine, Schering-Plough, Capital Shopping Centres and Pfizer.

Before joining DBT, Robert worked for 13 years in the international chemical industry, firstly in sales and marketing management for the American corporation Dow Chemicals and then for the Japanese multinational Ishihara Sangyo Kaisha, where he was General Manager for the UK, Ireland and the Nordic countries.
