Capture and validate required fields
Form design is used to emphasise required fields, but these are also validated when the pen data is received by the platform. Where required values are missing, immediate text message feedback is provided to the user.


Check-sum calculations
PaperIQ have pioneered the use of modulus 10 check-sum calculations on digital paper to validate critical data points such as database ID’s or credit card numbers.
Answer validation
PaperIQ can add any required validation rule on a field by field basis.
Time and Date Recording
PaperIQ’s platform records the time and date of every pen stroke. This enables sophisticated usage reporting and avoids the need for a user to enter time and date information on the form.
Data-specific dictionaries (“lexicons”)
PaperIQ’s platform provides the ability to quickly add data-specific dictionaries to handle fields with specific data formats. Simple examples of these are the collection of Postcodes and E-mail addresses.
